Description
We found this in our inbox this week, with some beautiful footage of lake Kinneret, aka the Sea of Galilee, at between 705 ft and 686 ft below sea level. It is approximately 33 miles in circumference, about 13 miles long, and 8 miles wide. Lake Kinneret is fed partly by underground springs but its main source is the Jordan River which flows through it from north to south and exits at the Degania Dam. We could talk more about the lake, but the word beautiful is a great summary.
