Assessing environmental damage in the wake of a disaster as devastating and massive as the Woolsey Fire can be daunting. But that job became far easier for the National Park Service when it enlisted the help of AeroVironment Inc. The Simi Valley-based company recently deployed one of its high-tech drones to survey the landscape and gain insight into the scope and scale of the damage.
